DOes Pray work?

i was staying back after school with some of my classmates..and they had a conversation about christian.

i am the one who likes to listen to story ( well, you may describe me kepoh )..a question was raised by me to my friend..

''does pray work?''

'' yes..'' she answered.

im not going to continue about this topic. but one matter which i'd strongly agree with her was..everything is decided by God...our future ..the path taken by us...(sounds so impropriate for a buddhist to use the word ' God '..i apologize here if i had said sth wrong )...there must be some reasons behind for it...for instance, the course offered to me now is totally out of my 1st fav. choice...anywhere, the final decision is still in my hand and this has to be made in the coming April...

oh yeah... i am here to wish my dad have a great 54th year in your life...
